The Consultant

Ing. Pier Faccin

Pier Faccin, MS-EE, provides his customers with a 30-year experience as R&D Manager and Product Designer in the field of the electronic design, offering a specialist, operational and management assistance aimed to concretely solving every problem. He acts as a consultant for innovation and new product development and he gets involved in all organizational, implementation and production aspects, using skills and tools aimed to achieving results, with a strategic approach and a focused vision.
He graduated in 1986 with a Master in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna and he has accumulated 30 years of experience working in the R&D area of various Telecommunications, Electronics, Automotive and Aerospace manufacturing industries. He has an excellent command of all the tools useful for planning, organizing and managing projects, for the design and implementation of Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave (MW) circuits as well as analogue and digital Hardware (HW) boards with related Firmware (FW) development.

He also has a deep knowledge of optical frequency, RF and time domain measurement techniques. As an expert in the design of Fibre Distributed Antenna System (F-DAS), he has an in-depth knowledge of the characteristics and operation of optical and electro-optical devices, as well as of the wireless technologies used in mobile radio systems and in the Internet of Things (IoT) applications. A significant experience in the protection of Intellectual Property Right (IPR) completes the picture. Qualified to practice as Professional Engineer since 1987, he is a member of Engineering Council of Rimini province.
